Intermezzo Whole Bean

I have to say that I am deeply disappointed with this coffee. I was looking forward to it, but as soon as I opened the bag and realized there was almost no aroma, I was shocked. The coffee has a peculiar bitterness. It is under-roasted and very brownish instead of a darker color. It looks like Jacobs coffee. I personally do not like it, but I tried it after drinking Lavazza, so perhaps that is why. I will not buy it again. Also, I find it a bit expensive for what it is.

Such a smooth, rich flavor. Perfect for espresso.

Great smooth taste

I love Segafredo Intermezzo coffee, but this last experience with them was far from normal. My coffee bag had ripped down the seam and all the coffee beans poured into the shipping box which has tear in it, so I only got about a half a bag of loose beans delivered. I sacrificed them the garbage can.

This Segafredo coffee was served on our recent Seabourn Mediterranean cruise. My spouse instantly fell in love with the smooth taste (though she normally prefers a medium roast). It was a pleasant surprise to find that we are able to buy the whole bean bag once we returned. It's become her weekend morning treat to make a cup of freshly ground Segafredo coffee. We will be ordering again soon!

A bit too bitter

I've been drinking Intermezzo coffee for 30 years. It is my favorite and I'm so glad it is more easily available for purchase in the U.S. My European friends are also happy that they don't have to help me stockpile it everytime I travel!
