The Care That Goes Into Your Cup
At Segafredo Zanetti®, we believe that it is our responsibility as a business to contribute to the wellness of our planet and give back to the communities where we work and live.
Reducing and Reusing Waste
Through strategic municipal partnerships, we convert manufacturing production waste and other materials into fuel, reducing our carbon footprint.
Manufacturing by-products, such as coffee chaff, is repurposed for use in agricultural products and fertilizers.
Robust recycling practices for packaging and raw materials are implemented into our manufacturing processes across all facilities.
Fairness and Sustainability
Our parent company, Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA, is committed to fairtrade programs, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable sourcing through Fair Trade, USDA Organic, and Rainforest Alliance Certified™ coffees.
Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA is also a partner of the Sustainable Coffee Challenge whose mission is to make coffee the first globally sustainable agricultural product.
All of Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA brands’ single-serve brewed coffee pods use less plastic than a traditional K-cup, reducing manufacturing and postconsumer waste.
Our commitment to promoting freight sustainability and the strict adherence to best practices proven to benefit the environment have earned us a certification as a SmartWay Transport Partner by the EPA’s National Fuel & Emissions Laboratory.
People and Communities First
Through the Zanetti Foundation, we aid children and families in coffee growing regions. This non-profit organization run by members of the Zanetti family, is dedicated to providing healthcare, education, psychological, and financial assistance.
Our MZB Way to Care Programs are focused on making an impact in the neighborhoods where we work and live.
Below are just a few of the organizations in our US manufacturing communities that we partner with:
